See Continued Progress at the Grand Rapids Public Museum

The Grand Rapids Public Museum is undergoing a significant $50 million expansion and renovation, marking its first major upgrade since 1994.

The museum renovation includes exhibit space expansion, landscaping improvements, and enhanced river accessibility. Over the last month, updates have included progress on both the carousel roof and steel structure. Next steps involve framing the exterior walls and installing glass, with the goal of being fully enclosed between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Check out the renovation gallery below to see the current progress, and stay tuned for updates on how the Grand Rapids Public Museum is continuing its mission to create an engaging, inclusive space for everyone.
